CHERRY DAIQUIRI RECIPE2 DRINKS
Frozen cherries work just fine for this drink. Allow them to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before using them. If you use fresh cherries, you’ll need to pit them first.
2 cups ice
¾ cup pitted, sweet red cherries, semifrozen
2 teaspoons superfine sugar
3 ounces white rum
2 ounces cherry liqueur (such as Heering)
Juice of 2 limes
Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Cover and pulse on and off until
the mixture starts to swirl evenly. Blend on high for 20 seconds, or until
the drink is completely smooth.

Variations

CHERRY VANILLA DAIQUIRI Omit the sugar. Add 2 tablespoons vanilla
syrup before blending.
CHOCOLATE CHERRY DAIQUIRI Omit the cherry liqueur. Add 2 ounces
white crème de cacao before blending.
SOUR CHERRY DAIQUIRI Use sour cherries instead of sweet cherries.
SPICED CHERRY DAIQUIRI Omit the white rum. Add 3 ounces spiced
rum (such as Captain Morgan) and ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon before
blending.
TROPICAL CHERRY DAIQUIRI Omit the white rum. Add 3 ounces
coconut rum (such as Malibu) before blending.
WHITE CHERRY DAIQUIRI Omit the red cherries and cherry liqueur.
Add ¾ cup pitted, white cherries (sometimes called Queen Anne cherries),
2 ounces kirsch, and 1 extra tablespoon superfine sugar before blending.
